With so many products and services geared toward women, the salon industry was lacking expert professionals for men. Early in her career, Dorie Spiegel realized the desire of savvy men for stylists who specialized in men’s grooming needs. She subsequently opened her salon The Green Room For Men – in Los Angeles, CA in 2006. 

She began her career on the East Coast, where she trained with national educators from the long-established American Crew a company that has always had a passionate commitment to the ever-changing hair styling needs of men. It was here that Dorie honed her skills in all aspects of men’s grooming needs, from cuts to styling and color. She later joined the nationally-recognized team at The Grooming Lounge, in Washington D.C., one of the countries premiere destinations for quality men’s grooming products and services. Currently located in downtown San Diego, The Green Room remains committed to quality grooming services for men.
